Dr. Heather Elford ND is a Naturopathic Doctor and certified Doula with a passion for reproductive health, hormones, pregnancy, postpartum and paediatric health.

Dr. Heather ND’s goal in working with patients is to uncover the factors contributing to their health concerns, target them with evidence-based treatments and establish the foundations of health to allow patients to access their healthiest and greatest selves. She does this through in depth appointments, comprehensive testing, and individualized treatment plans tailored to a patient’s unique presentation and health goals. Treatment plans may include lifestyle and nutrition modifications, herbal and supplemental approaches, acupuncture and more!

When she is not seeing patients in practice, Dr. Heather Elford ND can be found painting, and going for hikes with her husband Peter and Goldendoodle Bear.

Dr. Despina will be covering Dr. Heather’s patients during her maternity leave from April 11th, 2025 until Fall 2025.

Dr. Despina Michailidis ND is a licensed naturopathic doctor in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CoNO) and a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND). She holds a Doctor of Naturopathy degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Minor in Nutrition from the University of Guelph, where she was awarded the Bruce Sells Award of Academic Excellence in Biological Sciences.

Growing up, Despina was inspired by her father’s medical background and her mother’s love of organic foods and healthy cooking. Despite this, in university, she found herself burnt out and struggling to plan her life while dealing with endometriosis. She knew there was a better way, and she poured her heart into completing her naturopathic education and internship at the Schad Naturopathic Clinic, where she helped a wide range of patients of all ages.

Due to her own experience with endometriosis, she’s passionate about supporting other women at the intersection of hormonal and inflammatory diseases and she continues to pursue additional training in these areas. She looks forward to working with you on achieving better health with joy and ease!
